Jake Cody - un inceput promitator

Anul 2010 a fost un an incredibil pentru pro-ul din Marea Britanie - Jake Cody. Acesta a ajuns printre starurile promitatoare din poker dupa ce a castigat Main Eventul de la EPT Deauville organizat de PokerStars, urmata de victoria WPT de la Londra in august.

Tinand cont de victoriile sale, nu este o surpriza ca britanicul a castigat premiul pentru “Cel mai bun jucator al anului” si “Rookie of the Year” (Novicele anului) la a 10-a editie a Premiilor Europene din Poker – care s-a tinut weekendul trecut la Paris.

Cody a mai fost nominalizat la categoria “Outstanding Tournament Performance”, dar a pierdut in favoarea unui alt britanic – James Bord.

In timp ce era desemnat castigator la Paris, Cody era ocupat cu a castiga turneul High-Roller din seria de turnee UKIPT Nottingham. In timp ce Simon Trumper ridica premiul in numele sau, Cody castiga un premiu in valoare de 42.000 de lire.
